THE BRIEF
A full branding for the scarf label Daughters of Neverland. This included a logo, full website design and packaging.
Daughters of Neverland is a scarf label of a different kind: Rooted in the traditional chic elegance of high end silk scarves these scarves make you shine as bright but without the stiff and stuffy feel of yesteryear – every piece is designed by me featuring a bright and quirky illustration style. These little gems are for all of you who want it both: elegance and fun. All scarves are designed with the best quality and feel in mind: Each scarf is 100% pure silk and feels luxurious and light every time you wear it.
THE PROCESS
THE LOGO
At first, bold colours and the swirly nature of the designs seemed important to reflect in the logo. Several ideas were tested, however, a more laid back style seemed more appropriate in the end, as the bold designs could speak for themselves this way.
The final logo is in simple dark grey and the decorative elements of the initials have been pared back. The accompanying typeface is a more neutral sans serif.
However, simply placing the name underneath seamed too contrite, arranging it throughout the letters was more beneficial.
THE WEBSITE DESIGN
THE PACKAGING DESIGN (BOX)
Everything was kept simple and minimalist with a light colour scheme and grey typography, to let the vibrant and powerful scarf designs speak for themselves. The logo reflects the playfulness and elegance of the the brand and it’s products.
additional PROMO MATERIAL
An accessory bible book was created to summarise styling info for clients. The cover reflects the lighthearted look of the brand.
A freebie calendar was also created with images from the scarf motives.
A lookbook was also created, showing off the designs with additional images with the model. Also specifications and other information were included.
