This one is really cool, if you’re interested in art history:

Discovering the great masters : the art lover’s guide to understanding symbols in paintings / Paul Crenshaw with Rebecca Tucker & Alexandra Bonfante-Warren.

There are little windows over the important symbols in the painting that have some small info about them and the other side of the page has some historical info about the specific painting. It’s really awesome if you those old master works.

The other book is

Weirdo noir : gothic and dark lowbrow art / by Matt Dukes Jordan.

All the main and coolest artists of the genre can be found, it’s really cool if you like something a little bit off beat! 🙂

The third one is a real treasure:

How to disappear / by Moki.

It’s a compilation of work of the German artist Moki and I am totally and utterly in love with her work. The book has beautiful prints of her paintings, sketches and prints, some of her work in black and white, some full colour. The sense of mystery and magic I get from these images is eery and so inspiring. I wish I could afford to buy something of her, they are really special.  Might buy the book before it’s sold out 🙂
