I created this pattern originally to be a part of something else, but as it sometimes goes it didn’t quite fit in the way I was thinking of. However I thought it looks quite cute by itself, especially as a children’s wallpaper or something (probably because of the pastell colours). And of course it features one of my favourite animals to draw, my nautilus and snails 🙂 I think it has a bit of a Victorian Wallpaper feel, because of the change from overall pattern to detail discovery when  you come close. I really like that about the old-fashioned wallpapers.
